Sorry but I thought since Professor Johns had not heard of Rick Roll yet he would appreciate getting "Rick Rolled" since I must admit it is pretty entertaining!
The joke is that people expect something more of a value and instead they get an 1980's failed one-hit-wonder which under today's standards is pretty horrible music. It is the confusion that makes people laugh.
Actually- I was kind of joking... Plus I think Rick Astley had two hits... Although for the life of me I can't get this song out of my head long enough to think of the other........
