Hello all, as you can see when you look at the bottom of this blog, I am Kevin Hengelbrok. I am finishing up my final year of undergrad here at Pitt. I am a Natural Sciences major (focusing on geology, chemistry, and physics) and I want to teach Earth and Space science when I grow up. I am pretty much a science geek-I have a rock collection, and I only watch the Discovery Channel-except when the Pens are playing. I am a huge Pens fan.

Well, I like to write in a more informal voice, sort of like I am talking to you. Take it as you will, but I find it more entertaining to write and read prose where the author is talking to the reader.
