Welcome Spring Students!

Three things for today.

First, be sure to send me an email asking me to invite you to the class blog; my email address is on both handouts from today.

Second, to begin the habit of making informal posts to the blog, once I've invited you to the blog plan on doing an entry which either introduces your (some way in which your interests relate to those of the class, for instance) or responds in some way to Modern Times. Ideally, you might do both.

Third, I'll post the prompt for the first assignment by Sunday - those of you in group #1 can look for it then, or possibly earlier.
