I'm following Mike's suggestion to post more casual things, even if I'm doing it a little late.
2 things about my daughter. First, she read her first book "all by herself" today - the book is called Gus.
Also, here's a picture of her that's going to be used to advertise her school, apparently.

For an illiterate (or do you prefer the politically correct "alliterate"?) you pulled off quite a project, my friend. Everyone - go read Alex's project, whether he's ever successfully completed a book or not.
I can already see her Christmas gift:
"Daddy.. what's the.. col-collect-collected works of Her Man Mel Vile?"
