informal blog

Jimmy Corrigan was one of the most interesting and frustrating reading experiences I have ever undertaken. First, the book changes the way you read constantly which makes it almost impossible to read any given page one time. Also the story seems to go nowhere, when I finished the book I didn't feel like I was satisfied with the way it ended or that the story was wrapped up I just had a ton of questions and no answers. Despite the frustrating reading experience I still enjoyed the graphic novel, it was a good diversion from the average novels I have been reading all semester and the use of the comic book form was incredible. This book left me with no feeling of closure but a desire to read more of the author's work.
