So I found this really interesting:

On page 61, the word "key" is mis-spelled as "kye". Kye is apparently a puzzle game that has a variety of objects that interact with each other in many ways. You have to collect different items and push blocks around to get by. It just seemed strange that he used this word instead of "key". This game reminds me somewhat of the long and dark hallways that Navidson encounters in his house. And it is this "key" that unlocks the door to the growing house.
